Cupcakes are priced per cupcake and depend on how many guests you will be expecting for your event. Our pricing ranges from $2.00-$4.00 per cupcake. A breakdown of the pricing is as follows:
- Basic cupcakes with white or chocolate icing: $2 per cupcake
- Cupcakes with colored icing to match wedding: $2.25 per cupcake
- Cupcakes with filling: Additional $0.25 per cupcake
- Cupcakes with additional decorations: Additional $0.25 per cupcake (monogram, initials, etc)
- Cupcake toppers can be provided by the bride and placed on cupcakes for no additional charge
- Bride can provide specialty cupcake papers for the wedding at her own expense. Otherwise, the above prices include the use of plain white cupcake papers.
- All of our regular cake flavors (except our Spice Cake), icings, and fillings are available for the cupcakes. You can choose multiple flavors for your cupcakes at no extra charge.
The Cake Stand will deliver and set up your wedding cupcakes/cake with charges based upon the destination and mileage from our shop on James Island ($25 - $65)
We also rent cupcake stands for your wedding cupcakes, which are $25 for the event.
Additional cupcake stands which can be designed and decorated to match your wedding theme can be purchased by the bride:
- Small Stand - holds up to 100 cupcakes: $25 (plus $10 shipping)
- Large Stand - holds up to 300 cupcakes: $40 (plus $10 shipping)
- The Bride or family can decorate the cupcake stand on your own, or The Cake Stand can decorate it for you at an additional cost:
- We decorate with supplies provided by the bride: $25
- We decorate and supply the materials (ribbon, paint, etc): $50
Appointments can be made at The Cake Stand for a free tasting. At the tasting, you will be able to sample most of our cake flavors, icings, and fillings. A portfolio of our previously completed weddings will be available for viewing. All of the details of your wedding plans will be discussed to determine the best possible options for you. A specific price quote for your cupcake wedding cake will be given for you to take with you after tasting.
After deciding that The Cake Stand will make your cupcakes or cake, a deposit will be required and a contract will be completed to ensure that your date is kept and that The Cake Stand will have every detail covered for your special day.
